It’s not too early to start planning for high school!
It may seem like high school is still far away for your student, but it’s closer than you think! There are a LOT of high school options in the valley: magnet, academy, charter, district, and private. 8th grade parents: the eChoices window is now open and will close in mid-November. 6th-7th grade parents: avoid 8th grade parent panic and start looking this year!
We have invited a range of high school administrators and counselors to the VCMS Van Nuys Blvd campus to present for our parents. Bring your student or come by yourself to listen and begin to make the best high school decision for your student.
Parking on campus will be limited on the night of the event. If the parking lot is full, parents can also park at the Mid-Valley YMCA located just down the street from the back gate located at 6901 Lennox Ave.
High School presentations will begin at 6pm, come a little early at 5:30 and visit community tables: Anthem Blue Cross, North Los Angeles County Regional Center and the Mid-Valley YMCA.
