Saturday Brunch Mingle: April 13th

Enjoy mingling with fellow 4th and 5th grade parents while enjoying light brunch items and some mimosas. Kids are welcome to come and mingle. Hosted by Rikke Christensen and Steve Liu. 4th and 5th grade families only, $25 per family.

Tacos and Boardgames: April 13th

We will have tacos and beer followed by boardgames. We will have a table for each of the following games: Ticket to Ride, Wingspan, Catan, and Seven Wonders. Each table will have someone to explain the rules and how to play. We suggest watching Watch It Played on YouTube to get more info on the games. The games can take some amount of patience as they can last 2-3 hours for one playthrough. Hosted by Gerson and Jennifer Vielman, Adults only, $30 per person.

Kids Pizza and Boardgames: April 17th

Kids will enjoy some pizza while they play easy to learn games like Splendor, Carcassone, Blokus and more. We’ll have multiple tables going and I will be facilitating the games. We are a dog friendly home, however she will be tucked away in the side yard during the party. DROP OFF ONLY. 3rd-5th grade students only. Hosted by Jennifer Vielman, $20 per person.

Ducking Around: April 20th 10-11:30

Come feed the ducks at the CSUN duck pond! Duck food and activities will be provided. Bring a snack, picnic blanket, and anything you want to enjoy the spring weather! This is a family event geared for babies thru 1st grade. Party will be at the Orange Grove Duck Pond. Hosted by Stephanie Silverstein, $10 per family.

Paint and Wine Night: May 4th

Join us for a night of chill vibes, canvas painting and delicious wine, led by VCES parent & art teacher and founder of My Art Studio, Kristin Rywalski. Kristin will guide this adult only event, teaching participants how to paint from real life, creating a unique canvas acrylic painting. Not only will we make a beautiful piece of art, but we will relish in the adult, kid free evening adorned with adult drinks and yummy cheeses. Laughs and good times guaranteed! Photography mini-session for families: May 18th

Saturday 5/18 at O’Melveny Park VCES Parent Jen Malone will be providing 20-minute family photo sessions morning or evening. Each family will receive 2 professionally edited, high-resolution photos emailed to them in an online gallery within 2 weeks from the shoot date. Because parents will need to sign up for a specific time slot, sign ups for this party are only in person at party book tabling before or after school, or in the school office.
