Student-Led Fundraising
The Viper Dash is a student-led fundraiser.
Student-led fundraising means students take an active role in raising donations by reaching out to friends,
family, and others in their community.
Each student is encouraged to raise $150 or more through a combination of large and small donations from their community—whether by collecting cash, checks, or online contributions, or by selling See’s Chocolate Bars and Popcornopolis Popcorn.

- Cash/check donations: on Wednesday, February 12th, students will receive a large brown envelope with a tracking sheet to collect cash and check donations. Students can turn in these envelopes with their cash and check donations to the school office on or before March 13th.
- Online donations: Each VCMS student has a unique fundraising link on our online donations website. Students and parents can send out the link through email or social media to friends and family, especially those who live far away. Parents will receive this link in an email on Thursday, February 13th. Each fundraising envelope has your student's fundraising QR code. Scan it today!
- Sell See's Chocolate Bars and/or Popcornopolis Popcorn. More details here.
- NOTE: All donations will be tracked on the Viper Dash website (cash and check donations will be entered as they are turned into the office), and each student’s donations will be tracked on their individual donation page.
Fundraising Tips:
- Three ways to donate: Collect cash or check donations or online!
- If someone wants to donate online, they can scan the QR code on your donation envelope and search for your name to make their donation.
- Take your donation envelope to family dinners, church, and after school activities: Ask everyone you know to support student programs at VCMS. You'll be surprised at how many people want to donate!
- Track your progress using the donation tracking sheet on the front of your envelope!
- Share your goal with everyone—friends, family, and neighbors—and watch your donations grow!
- The more donations, the closer you get to the Laser Tag party!
