What is the AGC Talent Show?
The AGC Talent Show puts the "fun" in "fundraising," and it’s the grand finale of the 2024 Valley Charter Elementary School Annual Giving Campaign (and we promise that it will be shorter than last year's show)! Students and staff will show off their amazing talents in pre-recorded video segments, hosted by our fabulous student and parent emcees in a telethon-style format.
From somersaults to roller skating and singing, you’ll be blown away by the creativity of our VCES community! Plus, one BIG prize—4 tickets to Disneyland—will be raffled off during the show to anyone who has donated to the campaign!—so stay tuned for the BIG finish!
When is the Talent Show?
- Date: December 6th
- Time: 6:00-8:00 pm
- Where is the Talent Show? The Talent Show will be virtual again this year! Gather your friends and family for a fun watch party.

🎬 Show Off Your Talent in the AGC Talent Show! 🎤
Do you have a cool talent to share? Whether it’s a big performance or a small skill, we want YOU to be a part of the AGC Talent Show! All students are invited to submit a video showcasing any talent—cooking, singing, magic tricks, juggling—whatever makes you shine!
Here’s what you need to know:
- Videos must be 60 seconds or less. As much as we would like to encourage longer videos of our amazing students, it's only a 2 hour show. If videos are longer than 60 seconds, they will be edited by our parent volunteer show editors.
- Videos must be submitted by November 18th to make it into the show.
- Examples of previous videos: trampoline jumping, playing an instrument, drawing, making a salad, baking cookies, sock puppet show.
- Parents: please ask your student to clearly introduce themself with their full name and grade level at the beginning of their video.
- Students are encouraged to make a video in pairs or small groups if they do not want to make an individual video.
- Students DO NOT need to make a video to watch the Talent Show. All VCES families and friends are invited to attend.
We can’t wait to see what you’ve got! Get creative, have fun, and let’s make this year’s Talent Show the best one yet! ✨
- Please label your student's video file with their name and grade level. (Email Rebecca Avery if you need help with this.)
- Submit your student's Talent Show video to this Talent Show video submission folder.
- Videos MUST BE SUBMITTED BY NOVEMBER 18TH.
- Once you have submitted your student's video, it will be moved out of the public folder. Please don't panic if you check back in the submission folder and it is no longer there.
- A list of students who submitted Talent Show videos will be published in the December 2nd newsletter. Please check this list. If you don't see your student's name, please email Rebecca Avery ASAP. ([email protected]).
- Please don't hesitate to email Rebecca Avery with any other questions regarding the Talent Show or the Annual Giving Campaign.
Even if your student didn’t submit a video, we invite all VCS families to join us in celebrating our talented students. Don’t forget to invite friends and family to watch, too—it’s going to be a blast!
