VCES Annual Giving Campaign Talent Show
New this year: We’re celebrating LIVE and in person in the VCES sanctuary and offering a Zoom option so everyone can join the fun!
What is the AGC Talent Show?
The AGC Talent Show puts the “fun” in “fundraising”—and this year, for the first time ever, it will be held live and in person in the VCES sanctuary, with a virtual option on Zoom so everyone can join the excitement!
The Talent Show is part of our Annual Giving Campaign—a night to celebrate our students’ creativity and school spirit while raising funds that directly support VCES programs. Students and staff will showcase their amazing talents through a mix of live performances and pre-recorded video submissions, hosted by our fabulous fifth-grade MCs and the always entertaining Mr. Valley Charter!
From somersaults to roller skating, guacamole-making to skateboard tricks, you’ll be blown away by the creativity of our VCES community. Come early for concessions, cheer on our student performers, and stick around for raffles, prizes, and a dance!
And don’t forget—the fundraising fun continues! Anyone who donates to the Annual Giving Campaign (more information soon with donation details) during the show (whether in person or via Zoom) will be entered into a raffle to win 4 Disneyland tickets!

How to Participate
Video Submissions (TK–5)
🎬 Show Off Your Talent by submitting a video for the AGC Talent Show! 🎤
All students are welcome to submit a video for the Talent Show! Videos can highlight any special talent or share why you love VCES. Partnering with friends is encouraged—no talent is too big or too small! From making guacamole to landing a skateboard trick, we want to see it all!
Guidelines
- Videos must be 30 seconds or less.
- Students should start their video by introducing themself:
“Hi! My name is [Name], and I’m in [Grade]. I’ll be [brief description].” - Label your student's file with their name and grade before uploading.
- Submit the video to the Talent Show Google Drive folder by Monday, November 3rd.
- Once submitted, videos will be moved to a private folder (they’ll disappear from the public one).
- Late submissions cannot be accepted.
Live Acts (TK-5)
🕺💃 Show Off Your Talent by performing live in the AGC Talent Show! 🎤
This year, we’re adding live student performances to the show!
Guidelines
- Acts must be 1–3 minutes long.
- Students may perform solo or as a group.
- We can accommodate 10 total live acts. If we receive more than 10 submissions, performers will be chosen by a random drawing.
- Does your student want to be part of a live act? Tell us about it by submitting this form no later than October 24th!
We can’t wait to see what you’ve got! Get creative, have fun, and let’s make this year’s Talent Show the best one yet! ✨
Ready to submit your video? Here's how to do it:
- Please label your student's video file with their name and grade level. (Email Rebecca Avery if you need help with this.)
- Submit your student's Talent Show video to this Talent Show video submission folder.
- Videos MUST BE SUBMITTED BY NOVEMBER 3rd.
- Once you have submitted your student's video, it will be moved out of the public folder. Please don't panic if you check back in the submission folder and it is no longer there.
- A list of students who submitted Talent Show videos will be published in the November 10th newsletter. Please check this list. If you don't see your student's name, please email Rebecca Avery ASAP. ([email protected]).
- Please don't hesitate to email Rebecca Avery with any other questions regarding the Talent Show or the Annual Giving Campaign.
Even if your student didn’t submit a video and doesn't want to perform live, we invite all VCS families to join us in celebrating our talented students. Don’t forget to invite friends and family, too—it’s going to be a blast!
