Kermes / Family Game Night - April 11th, 6-8 PM
Get ready for an evening of bingo, delicious food, and community spirit at our Family Game Night on April 11th, from 6 to 8 PM at our Sherman Way campus (14646 Sherman Way)!
Build community and support VCMS at the same time! The funds raised will go towards 8th grade culmination activities, campus safety expenses, and field trips and will directly benefit our students and their middle school educational journey.
What’s Happening:
- Bingo! VCMS students will be calling bingo this year, sign up sheets are in the school offices.
- Raffles! Enter our raffles for a chance to win fabulous prizes. Each ticket gives you a chance to score big and contribute to our fundraising goals.
- Food! This year, we're replacing our usual taco vendor with a Kermes-style dinner. Kermes is a traditional Mexican fundraiser known for its delicious array of foods donated and served by families. Enjoy authentic flavors and dishes that you can purchase on the night of the event.
Your participation not only makes the night more enjoyable but also contributes significantly to our fundraising efforts. We’re calling on volunteers to help ensure the event runs smoothly. Whether you can assist with setup, food, or clean-up, OR donate items to our raffle baskets (see below), your help is greatly appreciated.

We are excited to roll out our STAFF RAFFLE for this year’s Family Game Night! Buy raffle tickets to win a fantastic afternoon with your favorite staff member! - Pizza with the Principal OR School Spa Afternoon (1 winner + 3 friends)
- Spicy Candy making with Ms. Cecilia (1 winner + 1 friend)
- Pizza with the Assistant Principal (1 winner + 2 friends)
- Pizza and Cartoons with Ms. Mazda (1 winner + 3 friends)
- Habit Burger Lunch Ms. Caja and Mrs. Melgar (1 winner + 3 friends)
- Sip N’ Paint with Mrs. Powers (*Juice & paint by number, 1 winner + 2 friends)
- Pizza + Movie or Electric Guitar Session with Mr. Gomez (1 winner + 3 friends)
- Crafting and a Chat or Stamping with the Psych with Ms. Paoletta (1 winner + 2 friends)
- Planting a Garden with Ms. Venegas (take home a plant), listening to music, and snacking (1 winner + 2 friends)
- Video Games + Snacks with Ms. Hernandez and Ms. Henriquez (Nintendo Switch 4 player games, 2 winners + 1 friend each)
- Journal y Charla with Ms. Ramirez (will receive a journal and stationery items kit with markers and washi tape, 1 winner + 1 friend)
- Loteria & Snacks or Making Friendship Bracelets with Ms. Solis (1 winner + 3 friends)
- Manicures with Ms. Marks (1 winner + 1 friend)
- Pizza and Xbox with Mr. Coleman (1 winner and 3 friends)
